Magic happens in the movie theater when the curtains open, the lights dim, and the opening title sequence starts. In those two minutes you are transported into the world of the film. It's the job of title designers to take you to that world - by setting the right mood with their opening titles. . Film titles come in many shapes and forms. Some of the best title sequences nowadays can be found at the end of the film.
From my point of view, the title is very important part of creating our opening sequence as it is the very first thing most people will experience when they will watch our thriller. And like all first impressions, I want it to be a good one. Our group is going to create title in Adobe After Effects as the whole opening sequence. After Effects is a fantastically creative tool that can be put to work for any number of animation styles and effects. We can achieve a surprising breadth of output entirely within the application, without the need to build artwork elsewhere first. While it’s good to use the appropriate tool to create artwork, the fact that AE is flexible enough to allow creation of usable footage assets in its own right is a major bonus if you have to create a project without any source material.
However, I made a research of these two particular sites http://www.artofthetitle.com/0 and http://www.watchthetitles.com in order to understand better the whole core of the creating the title which can attract a lot of people at the first glance. Furthermore, our group watched some sequences on these sites. It was really good idea as we have got inspiration for our own titles and it was really interesting and useful experience.
