My First Idea for Music Videos

As the basis for a music video I have decided to choose a track called 'Sky full of stars'. This is a song  of one of the most famous rock bands nowadays - Coldplay.  I have chosen this particular song because it provides a great number ides for our future music video. Additionally, the lyrics of the song allow my future team create an amazing video.

My First Step

                                        Music Video Ideas

I am starting to create my own music video ideas in order to be ready for the start of the academic year in September. I did not know exactly where should I start, so I have made a decision to create a plan which would help me dramatically during the process of creation my three music video ideas. First of all, I have identified 5 main types of music video:

• Educational;
• Concept music video;
• Music video that tells a story;
• Highly stylized with a strong sense of genre;
• Dance music video.

I have done these categories in order to identify objectives/concepts/visual images of each type of music video. I hope that this visual map will help me to create an amazing music video.

Birdy Unofficial Website + Evaluation

Today I created unofficial website of a young and popular singer and songwriter. Her name is Birdy. I have decided to use Wix as I have already tried WordPress and I was willing to try something new.

          Few words about Wix:

• It is a cloud-based web development platform that allows users to create HTML5 websites and mobile  sites, through the use of their online drag and drop tools.
• Users can add functionalities such as social plug-ins, eCommerce, contact forms, email marketing, and community forums to their websites using a variety of Wix-developed and third-party applications.
• Users must purchase premium packages in order to connect their sites to their own domains, remove Wix ads, add e-commerce capabilities, buy extra data storage and bandwidth and more.

I was really impressed with Wix as it is a really useful and extremely convenient tool for making your own websites. It is in stark contrast to Word Press which is not a really good platform. It is quite difficult to use WP because in the beginning I did not understand what should I do in order to make a beautiful unofficial website of Pink Floyd. In comparison, Wix shows 2-minutes long video which explains how to use Wix in order to get the best results. Below I have attached screenshot which shows how it is easy to use Wix.
