For my next music video I have an idea to use the song 'Photograph' by Ed Sheeran. The video will be both narrative and conceptual, this will be presented through the narrative enigma and fragmentation. The narrative will be of a teenage girl mopping around and crying in her bedroom. In between this we will feature flash back shots of a teenage girl with her boyfriend. The flashbacks will show how the girl has changed from the start of the relationship. Following this is several flashbacks related to painkiller use; in this case the girl's boyfriend has serious desease and this will break up the relationship. In-between each flash back we will cut back to the girl crying in her room. The overall narrative will be linear however I will add visual fragmentation through the use of flash back.
The video will be set primarily in the girl's bedroom with the flashback featuring the setting of Guildford City Cnetre and other recognizable areas of Surrey. There will also be shots of streets near the house in which the bedroom setting located. For instance, this may me street form Hurtwood House to The Lodge (two girls boarding house in our school).The girl will white dress, her hair will be in a mess.
